just watching him pl;ay, he looks like a guard. plain and simple.
it really worked nicely also, because having a guy his size adds a lot of nice length defensively.
they are playing a kind of zone, and with a guy like daye adding his almost seven foot frame, well it is an advantage defensively, also.
and as the cavs announcers have noted, he gives them a huge plus offensively.
i'm glad frank is thinking like i am thinking on this one...

daye will have trouble guarding anyone.
but he is going to be able to hit his jumper on just about anyone also.
the pistons should play zone with all of their length.

can only watch the first half...
the pistons need size and a low post threat.
they need to play more zone defense to take advantage of their length.
dave can play the SG, but he needs to concentrate more and stop floating.
the pistons need to run some back door plays to keep teams from cheating on their entry passes to the wings and post players.
oy hea...and did i say they need big guys who can rebound, defend and hopefully score in the post?
the lack of size is really amazingly obvious. and if cleveland, with its bad frontcourt can abuse detroit, lord help them as they play the rest of the league. it will get ugly. they may not win 20 games if they don't get some shotblocking and rebounding from someplace.

Hopefully. Pistons finally scored in the 2nd half with 7:46 on the clock Cleveland was on a 18-0 run from the 2nd quarter until Jerebko drilled a 3. 61-51 in the 3rd, 5:21 left.
