just another example of how a physically imposing and superior player - wallace, for instance - can dominate a guy who is supposed to be a better player.

Excellent observation Frankie D, this is why I champion Jerebko being our SF.....he has the game to flat out own the average to above average SF's in the league. Instead of weight gain programs to play PF, why not get stronger so he can kick on LaBron's ass? When his game reach's that level we're over the top!

Grizz: You can use anonomitity & creativity together for any conversation, Piston Talk or whatever, as per my posts & pics I was having a ball with it, its like a pick up basketball game that one person brought the ball with him, he didn't play well with others & got mad & took the ball & went home, Wah! Ive been on other forums & the first thing they tell the posters who are biatchin' about this & that to either schroll on by or quit reading their posts, thats a given, but when someone comes in here & says Im ruining the forum by showing a few pics then thats pathetic & I will not let him decide for me whats right & whats wrong. I love basketball & my Pistons but am not just stuck on one thing on any given conversation, the pics can add a lot of info & humour to any forum, this is my opinion & thats his, it doesn't matter who's right, its the prinicple of the whole thing, some people want to have fun with different things & some want to party poop just for attention or whatever their goal is, Im not going to let it bother me especially from someone who wants to bring people down. Flip hit on a good idea for the pics but Im not trying to offend anyone with what Im doing, appreciate your response but look at it this way too, who's the one that threw the 1st stone, so he needs a little love from someone too, Right? And as far as anonymous Im glad I got to see your pic, now I have an idea just who Im talking to. For all that saw the Bulls (our opponent tonight) and the Hawks realize that we're gonna have our first real test; the Bulls came back from a 19 pt. hole and won with a combination of defense, dogged determination, and a super-star that our own PG used and went off on for 40! We're going to need another steller perfomance Rodney.
I'm glad for the wins we've had as #1 came at the end of last year and we started this year off with win #2 but I'm taking a realistic view of what's happening. Two teams coming off back-to-backs and we're coming off a days rest; the Bulls are coming off a stretch that's got to have them fatigued and we're coming off a days rest. Scheduling. I want to see what we're like when the schedule tests our mettle. How will we hold up? Do we have the untested mental toughness to bring us through the tight patches? Will Frank refuse to allow his troops to make excuses, and in effect become crybabies? The next months play will let me know if we're playoff bound, even without the needed big man, or are we lottery bound? I'd rather see the team distingush themselves and force Joe's hand in trading for that quality big man he promised us. We'll know what we got to work with by this time next month and what we've got working against us. i believe, I believe, I BELIEVE we finally got it going in the right direction.
